The present Privacy Notice is put at your disposal in accordance with the Federal Law on The Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, its rules of procedure and other applicable regulations (“The Law”).

Direct English Centre, S.C. (“Direct English” or “We”), with fiscal domicile at Camino de la Secretaria A 153, Campestre Aragon, Gustavo A Madero, Mexico City, 07530, is the entity responsible of the treatment of your personal data, their use and their protection.

This Privacy Notices provides relevant information for those visiting our Websites (https://www.directenglishcentre.com/ or https://direct-english-centre.business.site/ the “Websites”), those who use our official pages in social media and the apps that in time Direct English may make available for their clients (our “Digital Properties”), provided that such Digital Properties establish that this Privacy Notice is applicable. This Privacy Notice will also be applicable to those who provide us their data through phone calls or electronic media, such as email, an those who visit our offices in Mexico, being that they provide us with their data with an intended purpose, or that they are obtained through our monitoring systems. At Direct English, we understand the importance of protecting the privacy of the persons with whom we interact day by day, including our clients, potential clients, invitees and different providers. How we get the personal information and why we have it

• Web Contact Form and Email
If you contact us using the contact form on the Websites the data is collated into an email and sent to us by Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). The data collected is housed on our servers and it will be deleted from our database within 30 days of its receipt if it is requested by You.
Emails sent to us using any of our email addresses also use the POP3 protocol.
To protect your information, we use an industry standard security protocol called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to encrypt the transmission of sensitive information between you and our website.
Your email message will be read by designated Direct English staff and may be forwarded to other mailboxes if this is required in order for us to be able to address your request.

• from google analytics when visitors visit our websites ( Google´s Privacy Policy)
• from google forms when visitors take our English exam ( Google´s Privacy Policy)

We do not share Personal Data with third parties, except when necessary for our legitimate professional and business needs, to carry out your requests, and / or as required or permitted by Legislation and other applicable regulations.

Under the The Law, the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

(c) We have a legal obligation.
(d) We have a vital interest.

What data do we obtain from you?
The type and quantity of data will vary according to the nature of the service provided, it can include some or all of the information listed below:
a) Identification data: information that allows Direct English to differentiate you from other individuals. This includes: Name, Tax ID.
b) Contact data: information that allows us to keep in contact with you. This includes: address, phone number, e-mail address, user name in social media for the purpose of contacting you.
c) Working data: Information concerning an individual relating to their job, position o commission, such as: position, work address, institutional e-mail address, institutional phone number.
Does Direct English obtain personal sensitive data from you?
No. Direct English does not proactively obtain data considered as sensitive by The Law, such as religion, health situation, sexual preferences, political opinion and similar data. We ask that you do not send information of this nature to us. In case you voluntarily provide us with this information and we receive it or register it in our systems, Direct English will only use it in the extent that such information might be essential to provide you with the service you requested from us.

How we store your personal information
Your personal data will not be kept in an identifiable form for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed.
Your personal data will not be kept in a form which permits the identification of the data subject for longer than needed for the legitimate business purpose or purposes for which we originally collected it including for the purpose of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
We also make reasonable efforts to retain Personal Data only for as long as the information is necessary to fulfil individual requests or until Users request that the information be deleted.
